Antarctica

November 19 - December 21

  • « Argentina and Chile
  • Kyrgyzstan »

The privileged few who visit Antarctica do so by sea.  There is no easy ticket.  We 21st Century ski mountaineers have central heating and hot water, but we are under sail, close to the elements, and ridiculously small in the immensity of the Southern Ocean.  Like Bellingshausen, Bransfield, Ross and de Gerlache our first sightings of the seventh continent will be from the deck of a small sailing vessel.  Our ascents and descents of the ice-covered mountains of the Peninsula are likely to be firsts or early repeats.  The intensely powerful experiences of this expedition will leave their mark and stay with you forever.  Trip Full
