In January 23 instead of going to the Picos de Europa we went Kyrgyzstan and loved everything.  It was such a great trip that I am excited to return in 2024.

Other than when carpeted with spring flowers the mountains of Kyrgyzstan are at their most beautiful during the crisp, cold, sunny winter days.  We aim to ski in three different areas and to see something of this small country of vast landscapes.  We will visit the capital city Bishkek and Osh in the Fergana Valley.  Travel will be by the usual mix of buses, trucks and old Russian vehicles.  We may use horses to carry our stuff to the yurts.
